Probably wont, just used that mission as an example, as there's quite a big chance of players dying on that one due to any number of reasons, mainly several foes dying at once and exploding round you, but then if you was a Survivor on that mission, you'd probably try to be halfway to Tyria just to keep out of trouble - Joke BTW before someone makes a comment that you cant get halfway to Tyria from Viznuah Square, but you can normally spot the Survivors as they're the non movers hiding away instead of doing the mission, same as the leechers but thats another topic covered elsewhere.

Unless of course they're any good at the game in which case you wont be able to spot them at all. If you have a keen eye however, you'll notice them holding a position in the battle lines and sticking to it.

I've always been a fan of seeing Advanced Skill Hunter (3), but I'm probably just biased.

Since Heroes are now confirmed to be able to move across campaigns, "Protector" and "Cartographer" now mean a lot less. So the only title I respect now will be, of course, "Kind of a Big Deal."

but for most people, kind of a big deal is made up of both protector, and both cartographer titles, and one other. so why would you not just respect the last one?

There can be only one answer. Champion title. Only the best of the best can get those.

I wear no title, even if i had all of them i'd still not wear one. I don't need to use a title to increase my feeling of self worth within the game.
I'm not knocking those that earn their titles mind you so flames not required. Its more because if its pvp skill I want to ne known for I'd like them to know it for my abilities by seeing it

But it is kind of hard to see your abilities while in town, don't you agree ?

Generally, I prefer to work off the person's communication skills. They don't always reflect in-game competence, but they at least indicate that the person'll be fun to play with!
Generally, titles tell you roughly as much or less as examining the player's secondary, their armour (and how they dyed it, which is often suprisingly telling!) and their character name!

i am just saying i have capped every single elite, albeith some on different characters. i have not used faction for any of the elite skills, and i have every elite on a various ppl. i.e foc on my e/n and so forth so i have experience with every single boss in game, albeit not all on the same char.

Communication and playing with a person is the only ways to judge skill, titles mean jack shit to me.

17 days after last post, I now post. While reading this, I see pvpers are not impressed with pve and vice versa. I don't pvp, so I have no idea what it takes for any of those titles. My question for pvpers is, do you use the pre-made characters or do you start a new character in pre and go post at level 2, get a run to Droks or Grotto and powerlevel? I am not being sarcastic or anything, but asking an honest question here.
Like someone said somewhere back thru there, I am impressed with the titles I get. Cause I know what I am going thru to get there.
My protector of Tyria title (on an E/Me) - I worked 1 mission at a time, getting both m & b before advancing to next. I would get in a group claiming both, then wind up with one or the other and the others quitting. I have taken up to 5 tries to get groups going for both m & b.
I am approaching 90% of the map with the same character, still most of Southern Shivers (Beacons to Droks to Grotto) left to open. I am overlapping treasure chests & capping with mapping. Re-entering missions with henches just to clear that little corner, because of people who don't care about titles that defeat your efforts to explore. (Kind of fun to get mission and bonus again with henches.)
I think what would be most impressive, is a combination of titles that puts the other titles in jepardy to aquire each of the others.

Eh, I still can't say Explorer is hard till the last 5%.
The other day, well the other 2 days, I went up 23% in explorer, from 57% to 80%. Henches ftw.
I am very impressed with the Gladiator titles. Anything over rank 2 or 3 Gladiator just takes sooo much time. Yeah there are guild groups out there that TA 24/7, but the majority of people go with friends or randoms here or there.

Well personally, i got 90% map, lvl 1 chest + wisdom, protector of cantha on my war and prot of cantha on 2 more other chars so i have some pve experience. my main grind would hafta be pvp cuz i HA quite a bit. so it would be unfair to say pvp'ers dont have experience wit pve. i use both pve and pvp chars in HA, and i have never been powerleveled. i have only been ran to grotto in order to get 15k armor once.
